Way back Wednesday: NAMBS ’99

Guisecliff, Pateley Bridge. A name that might not mean much to DH riders now but back in it’s day , it was a track to be reckoned with. Filmed on a VHS video recorder, at a time when having disc brakes was exotic, 4 inches of travel was alot and when nobody had a clue what “Yeah boi!” meant; yet people were riding fast and crashing just as hard as they are (if not harder) than in 2016. With guest interviews from Chris Whitfield (now winning Veterans in the BDS) and a shedload of belter over the bars moments; it’s well worth a watch.

(Watch in 480p )
